Make an Easter Garden to celebrate Easter and use it to tell the story. There are several versions of Easter Gardens here on let their light shine so I’ve collected them together. Pick the one that suits you or make a couple.

This garden has a sturdy paper plate as the base and uses home made playdough and weetabix. Here’s the link to this idea (and a variation)

Use compost and live plants to create a living Easter Garden in a metal tray. Link to this lovely idea that encourages children to look after the plants and get their hands in the soil!

Another idea uses a round paper plate and cut out flower pictures. This is a no mess garden. Link to this idea here.

This Garden can be printed and photocopied. Add flowers cut from magazines. Link to the post with the downloadable file. This is the easiest garden to make and requires very little preparation or resources.
Free Bible Images has a set of pictures that tell the Easter Story that are suitable for young children.
