Make a ‘creation celebration’ placemat.
You will need:
A laminator and laminate pouches ( if you don’t have these you could use ‘tacky back’ or make a poster)
A4 black paper – trim slightly to fit in the laminate
Pictures of animals and the natural world- from clip art/ magazines
Glue and scissors
The words ‘ In the beginning God created’ printed out
To make:
Give the children a big variety of pictures to choose from. Let them cut out what they would like yo use. (For very young children have a helper use scissors or do beforehand)
Glue to the black paper (you could use any colour but make sure the pictures stand out.
later an adult laminates each place mat. They will be spill proof to a point but not heat proof. Make sure everyone remembers to put there name on their creation before handing them in to be laminated.
