‘gingerbread’ mini house

I saw this on pinterest and thought I would see if it would be ‘child making’ friendly. I think it is! In a few weeks we’ll be having a go at making these mini houses at toddler group. I’ll warn the parents the week before.

The biscuits used are the ‘Bahlsen Continental’ biscuits for the base and two ‘Nice’ biscuits for the two sides. Decorate the Nice biscuits first (place on a paper towel ‘cushion’ to prevent breaking if little fingers press too hard) and then build the house and used tubes of icing to secure. I found that the biscuits were just the right size to make the triangle shape and held together really easily.

Of course always check for allergies before making anything edible.
